Rabies Vaccine is used to provide immunity against Rabies virus. It is usually given to people who have been bitten by an animal that is known or suspected to have rabies, or to people who work with rabies-prone animals (such as veterinarians and animal handlers). The vaccine works by stimulating the body's immune system to produce antibodies that will neutralize the rabies virus if it enters the body. The vaccine is typically given in a series of shots over a period of several weeks.

Rabies vaccine treats fatal disease caused by rabies virus in canine family and some other animals. The animals affected with Rabies-called rabid animals become either very violent or dumb. This is prepared by inactivating Rabies virus (Pitman Moore strain) cultered in VERO cell culture.

•  Administer 1 ml by intramuscular route.
