Description:
Albumin is the most abundant protein in human plasma and is synthesized in the liver.
Albumin is a powerful plasma expander.This product is made virus-resistant by double pasteurization.
Among its many physiological roles, it plays an important role in the generation of colloidal osmotic pressure. Used to restore and maintain circulating blood volume when volume depletion is demonstrated and colloid use is appropriate.
Albumin therapy includes hypovolemia or shock, burn therapy, hypoalbuminemia, prophylaxis of central volume depletion after puncture, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), acute nephrosis, renal dialysis, acute liver failure, cardiopulmonary bypass surgery, Hemolytic disease of the newborn, and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.

Human Plasma as Non reactive for HBsAg, HCV, HIV I and II antibodies and negative for HCV RNA by PCR.

Suitable for patients undergoing dialysis and premature infants.

Presentation:
Human Albumin is available in 20% concentration in 50 ml and 100 ml pack sizes.
Albumin with N-acetyl-DL-tryptophan as stabilizer is available at 20% concentration in 100 ml and Albumin with Optimum Sodium is available at 20% concentration in 100 ml.

36 months from the date of manufacture.
